SANPRA
provides free digital handheld recorders for those clients who sign up
contract for a 1-year period with a committed volume.

7) Will I need additional Hardware or Software?
You will need a Desktop PC with Windows 98 or higher operating system
with Internet Explorer 5.5 version and above. You will need DSL
/broadband/cable Internet connection for faster uploading of
dictation’s when using handheld recorders.

8) Do I need special software to upload the files?
Once you sign-up with SANPRA, we will provide the complete
Instruction sheet of how to use the Digital recorder, how to use our
web-based system to upload audio files, download reports etc. You do
not need any additional software. All you need is only a Desktop PC
with a web interface.

9) Can I upload from different locations?
You
can upload from different locations as long as you have an access to
the Internet using Internet Explorer 5.0 and higher version.

11) What will be your billing and payment terms?
We
bill the clients on a fortnightly basis. Our billing cycle would be
either 15 th/30th (or 31st) of every month. Even if you subscribe to
our services in the middle of the month, you will be completing the
first billing cycle on the 15 th or last day of the same month. Billing
Statements are due for payment upon receipt and our standard method of
acceptance of payment is by check / wire transfer. In certain cases we
also accept payments through credit/debit cards.

Our standard turn-around time is 24 hours. SANPRA guarantees the

STAT dictation is executed upon request, in the most-timely manner
possible. Charges for STAT work will be higher depending on the TAT.

15) How much do you charge?
We charge per line, based on the AAMT standard of a 65-character line.
We would be able to quote you a price after understanding the "scope of
work". It is impossible to provide one set price when no two clients
have the same requirement.

16) How long are transcriptions archived?
We archive transcribed files as per client’s requirement. Normally the transcribed files are archived for a year.

17) What kind of experience does your transcriptionists have?
Our average transcriptionist has a minimum of 4 years experience. Our
editors have average of 7 years experience. Our Quality Assurance
program is in accordance with the AAMT guidelines assuring 98.5%
accuracy rate. Additional training is given to keep our staff up to
date on all advancements in medical terms, procedures, etc.

18) Does your transcription staff sign non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements?
Yes, all our transcriptionists as well as supporting staff need to sign
non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements before they take
employment with us and it will be in effect two years post their
disassociation from our company.

19) Do you have any redundancies for your dictation servers and other servers?
Our servers are built with fault tolerance – mirrored drives. A
redundant system is ready in case of failure. A backup system is also
ready offsite in case primary system fails.
